Years of absence in Timor-Leste's biggest Metal Festival - CRONIFEC

Crowd of metalheads might have asked about the absence of Sanctuary from the Timorese metal scene. Since CRONIFEC - the biggest dream of KLAN, Sanctuary and many other local bands - came into existence in 2015, none of the festival ever involved sanctuary, due to the absence of a drummer. Sanctuary's fate has been undermined by my departure for school in the U.S. since 2013. The band obtained help from a variety of talented local drummers, but still the bond was absent which eventually I had to always fill in the gap that I left in the band. The band has gone through rough time that I have no liberty to disclose, but yes, it's there and it cripples every move of the band. Recently, through "Sanctuary Golgota" - the official facebook page of the band - on consensus, they announced my departure, due to an internal conflict within the band and some issues that I faced myself. The decision was firm that it caused so much speculations from the Sanctuary's "Sinners" - the name we call our followers - and other metal enthusiasts about the band. Though, it did not last long before couple of weeks that I was almost finish with my school for good, and agreed to return as the drummer for Sanctuary.

With my return, we hope to inspire more people and help passing on the experience that no matter what, music is important, but brotherhood comes above that importance that ties us.
